BMX // 1977 // Documentary

I saw Shannon Gillette post this up on instagram of an awesome documentary James Lindsey put together in 1977. James was going to school at SFSU and captured BMX at such a young and exciting time.
“BMX is a Bicycle Motocross Racing documentary I made in 1977 while attending film school at San Francisco State University. My father was a bicycle racer in the 1940’s, and opened a bicycle shop in Pleasant Hill, CA in the 1960’s. He promoted any kind of bicycle racing and in the 1970’s, sponsored a BMX team. Most of the film was shot at Merritt College in Oakland. The music track is original music, performed by myself and some friends.” – James Lindsey
