Dave Mirra // Woodward // 1989

Woodward seemed like a myth in the 80’s. My good buddy John Bristol went in 88′ but to me it still didn’t seem like a place like this could exist. Here we have some footage of Mirra & Hoffman during practice at the KOV in 89′. Dave had just started breaking onto the scene and was maybe around 15 years old. Mat Hoffman has some clips but they are quick. I loved seeing the quick body jar and the cancan footplant on the face of the ramp.
