Shad Johnson, Daniel Randall, Erik ‘ODB’ Jensen, & Jason Thom make their way through a back way to ride Oregon’s Oldest skatepark that was built in 1977.
I had heard about this park that was built in the 70’s and is the first skatepark built in Oregon from friends who had rode it in the early 90’s. We headed out on whim to check it out early fall of 1998. Since there is an on site security guard we snuck in the back way around 6AM and hoped he would not wake up and unload some rock salt on us as we had heard that had happened to others before!
We got about 20 minutes in before the lights flipped on and we split as fast as we could!
